Casa Jondal is a restaurant where people go not just to eat, but to have a real experience.

On the shore of the bay, Rafa Zafra created a place where every dish is a work of art, and the atmosphere is like a dream about Ibiza.

This is not just a restaurant, but a real gastronomic oasis on the southern coast of Ibiza. Located in the picturesque bay of Cala Jondal, this restaurant combines luxury, authenticity and culinary excellence.

Founders:

Together with his partners, the Argentinean Ricardo Acquista and the Croatian Goran Krstanovic, he opened a restaurant in Cala Jondal Bay, surrounded by pines and pine trees.

The building — the former El Sabinar restaurant — was turned into a simple white house with wooden tables without tablecloths, creating an atmosphere of coziness and naturalness.

Menu without dishes – only products

At Casa Jondal, you don’t choose a dish – you choose the product and the way you cook it.

The focus is on seafood: squid, shrimp, mussels, oysters, anchovies, octopus, langoustines, dorado and others. Each product can be prepared in several ways: grilled, fried, boiled.

The price ranges from €45 to €65 per portion.

Oysters with a marinade of carrots and saffron, carpaccio of Ibi shrimp, grilled lobster with sauce, seabass with baked garlic, crab with Mexican flatbreads – dishes that fascinate not only with their taste, but also with their simplicity.

Price for 1 pc. — 6–9 €, depending on the type.

For now, customers can choose the cooking technique, and in the future – also the style.

Casa Jondal is famous for its exquisite dishes, among which the pasta with creamy butter and a generous portion of caviar, worth 120 euros, deserves special attention.
King Crab is sold by weight, usually from €100 to €140 for 500-700 g.

Despite the fact that Casa Jondal is aimed at seafood lovers, the meat dishes here also deserve attention.

The portions are usually large, the price is from 30 to 50 € depending on the type of dish.

On the menu you can find excellent Iberian pork, tender veal fillet or grilled meat, prepared with attention to detail and respect for local traditions.

The meat is prepared simply, without extra sauces – to emphasize its natural taste.

Desserts you want to live for

Beach restaurants usually neglect desserts, but not here. Here they have a separate menu with recipes and illustrations, as in old cookbooks.

Even if you’re “on a diet”, try the pineapple with Catalan cream and sorbet – it’s divine. Or chocolate cake, cheesecake or small waffle cones with ice cream.

Price: €6-8 per portion.

Wine and cocktails – without compromises

The wine list is managed by Goran, sommelier and director.

There are Spanish classics, masterpieces from small wineries, French Burgundies, Albariños, aged sparkling wines – everything as it should be.

Clos du Temple Languedoc Cabrières – 248,80 €

Cocktails are made by Enzo, a bartender with Argentinian-Italian-Polish roots. There is everything classic: mojitos, negronis, daiquiris. But also author’s mixes on request.

Refreshing berry cocktail “Berry Fizz” – 20 €.

The music here is your own – in your head

This place is not about noise. It is about silence, bite and authenticity. No intrusive soundtrack. Here they listen to the sea, the waves, the whisper of the pines.

Due to its exclusivity and high level of service, Casa Jondal attracts many celebrities. Such personalities as Jeff Bezos, Bono, Naomi Campbell, Mick Jagger, Roger Federer and others were seen among the visitors.

Leonardo DiCaprio is a frequent guest of Ibiza and is also a visitor of this restaurant.

Atmosphere and service

Casa Jondal offers its guests a unique experience: outdoor dining overlooking the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean under the shade of sails and trees.
