In the heart of Geneva, on the picturesque lakeside promenade, is a restaurant that transforms an evening meal into a real gastronomic spectacle.

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Genève is not just a dining room, but a laboratory of taste, where French classics, Japanese precision and Swiss impeccability are combined.

Place and atmosphere

The restaurant occupies a space in the luxury hotel The Woodward, an iconic building on Quai Wilson 37, Geneva.

The interior is full of contrasts: dim lighting, deep red accents, and an open kitchen-to-view module all set the mood for an intimate dining experience where the chefs’ every move can be seen.

This is one of the few places in the city where a guest can feel not only as a visitor, but as an observer of the creation of masterpieces.

Cuisine and concept

The name “Atelier” means “workshop”, and this is a very accurate definition. Modern French cuisine with a slight oriental bias prevails here – exceptionally high-quality, maximally “to the taste” of each ingredient.

The menu changes seasonally, but some classic Joël Robuchon-inspired dishes retain their place: delicate textures, rich flavors, and serving aesthetics.

Drinks
At L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, drinks are an extension of the gastronomic story. The wine list includes more than 200 positions from France, Italy and the New World, including rare vintages and author’s selections by the sommelier.

Guests can choose from classic wines to accompany meat and fish dishes, as well as tasting sets created specifically for the menu. There are non-alcoholic pairings as well – fermented juices, infusions and drinks made from locally sourced ingredients that subtly highlight the flavors served.

La Vie en Rose. The lineup includes gin, raspberry/leach, lemon, some liqueur and protein.

Distinctions

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Genève is one of the few restaurants in Switzerland to be awarded two Michelin stars. Approximate: the average price for dinner is around CHF 175 excluding drinks.
Tasting menus start at CHF 269, and can be higher for festive dates.
The lunch menu on Friday through Saturday is available from 12:00 to 13:30. Dinner is Tuesday through Saturday from 19:00 to 21:00.
