a tranquility that has flavor.
In the valley between Sanen and Gstaad, amidst the pine slopes and the sound of cows, stands a restaurant that needs no advertising. It just is – as an extension of the landscape, as part of a culture of tranquility, precision and good taste.

This is Restaurant Golfclub Gstaad-Saanenland – a place where gastronomy meets discipline, and service resembles a game of golf: unhurried, balanced, without mistakes.

The restaurant building stands right on the golf club grounds. The terrace offers a view of the Alps – so close that it seems as if the wind is coming straight down from the slopes.
The interior is modern Alpine minimalism: wood, white light, natural materials, acoustics, in which only the sounds of dishes can be heard. No “design tricks”, only clean lines and logic.

Here you can choose your rhythm: morning coffee at the bar, lunch with colleagues on the terrace or evening dinner in the hall with soft light and a glass of white wine.
The restaurant’s menu is built around seasonal produce and short supply chains.
Dairy products are from local farms. Meats are from neighborhood farms. Vegetables are from the Saanen Valley. The chef doesn’t try to surprise – he cooks honestly, cleanly, and with respect for the product.

In the daily menu you can find classic Swiss positions – fish fillet on cream sauce, veal in wine, seasonal soups, as well as homemade desserts, for which you should come separately.
The kitchen is open from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm, and the best time to come here is for lunch – when the sun falls directly on the valley.
Let’s move on to the dishes that have most captured the soul of the place:

One of the restaurant’s special offers is the “Golf & Dine” format.
It includes 18 holes on the Golfclub Gstaad-Saanenland course and a four-course menu from the chef.
The price is 169 Swiss francs per person.

For the Gstaad region, this is a very fair level of value when you consider the game day, the level of cuisine and the atmosphere. It’s not just fun – it’s a full day at the rhythm of slow business: when lunch is part of the thinking.

The waiters here don’t just ‘serve’. They know who you are, what you like, and remember what wine you ordered last time.
Seats are worth booking in advance, especially the terrace in summer – it’s the best spot to watch the sunset.

The restaurant is not only open to golf club members – any guest who appreciates level, tranquility and pure gastronomy without “noise” can come here.

The Golfclub Gstaad-Saanenland restaurant is an example of what a relaxed suite looks like.
No gold logos, no pretensions – just a place where everything works precisely, tastes good and is beautiful.

This is not a restaurant for “effect”.
This is a restaurant for those who can appreciate silence, quality and people who do their job to a high standard.
